Timecrimes : The Best Movie I have seen in my life!

Okay so I have Netflix and I fing love it. Netflix is the best thing I have ever been a part of (besides Sam and Mediocre and Skateboarding). It has allowed me to experience a broad range of films that I would have normally skipped over. Timecrimes is a movie that I would have skipped over for sure. This is a foreign film from Spain and the Spaniards got themselves one sweet film. I really don’t want to get into too much detail about the film since it is such a intense film that pushes you to look deeper into and see what is really going down. It also forces you to like its sort of plain and sometimes frustrating characters. This movie has all the twists and turns and flips you can handle. I would call it Science Fiction/Horror. It has time traveling, death, murder, love, and some stabbing (maybe a boob or two).

I hope that if you read this you take the time to check this film out. I am serious when I say you will like it and it will make you think. I watch a ton of movies and this one is so much better then average. Please pick it up!  You will not be disappointed.

Kansas Knee Tattoo!

11 months, 3 Sessions, 3 trips to Kansas, 2178 miles, Ski Ball Loss, 33 hours in a car, 1 speeding ticket (181 dollars), Maybe 3 hours under the machine, and it all lead to 1 sweet Knee Tattoo! I finally got my knee tattoo finish on Thursday in Wichita, Kansas at Red Sea Tattoo by the one and only Matt Headley! I made this trip with Adam which always helps to have a friend ride along. We spent roughly 24 hours in Kansas hanging with Matt and Emily. We ate Barbeque, Indian Food, hung out at the Value Center, found Jesus again, and got tattooed. Knee tattoos are brutal and I was stoked to finally finish it. No matter how bad it hurts its always cool to get tattooed with friends.

It has not finished healing but I wanted to post a blog about it cause well I think it is freaking sweet!

Nerf Arsenal!

Okay all I am saying is do you have as many Nerf Guns as me?? I think not! Who wants to come over and battle it out. Trust me it is fun, and also a healthy way to burn some calories! If you ever see a sweet Nerf gun pick it up and come over. I have also scored a lot of sweet guns at the Thrift stores. Nude Dart Wars 2 coming soon!

I need some used skateboard parts?

I need some used skateboard parts so that I can build a skateboard for this little girl. She has shown a want and drive to ride the wooden stick of hurt. She has been practicing on a 8 dollar Wal Mart complete just to see if she would like it. I have a beat up deck but I need some wheels, bearings, hardware?? Can you help?

If you do not send anything or bring it by the house I will have to chop her up into little pieces for riding my board. I think the most disturbing part of this picture is her smiling excited face?? What kind of kid likes that stuff??

Cool Videos and Old Homies.

So I went to see the Debacle Nike SB Video at the Movie Grill in Dallas. Index Skateboard Shop put the whole event on letting us all watch the video for free. And free in these hard economic times is a good thing. The video was dope but it is always cool to see old friends come out of the wood work. I am always stoked when there is some sort of skate related event it gives me an excuse to get out of the house and talk about my mustache.

I also ran into a super old buddy that I had not seen it what seems like at least 8 years maybe more. Chris Partee is the first guy I met at my high school that skated. He is also the first dude I saw skate super awesome. I mean this dude ripped and this was like 14 years ago at least. I am sure he could still skate me into the dirt but seeing him brought back a lot of memories from the good old days of skating curbs at McFrugal’s.

Do you know what this is?

I may or may not have seen a demon? I accidentally left this out of my AM Lazer Session but I have to talk about it cause it scared my pants off. As we were skating at the AM session I took a short break and was standing next to Dillon. While on said break a mighty crazy looking huge freaky demon/bug landed on my arm. Now usually I am a pretty cool customer, it takes a lot to freak me out, but I screamed. This thing was evil looking and huge. Dillon witnessed it land on me and was also startled. I wanted to find the words to describe this thing but fell short so I sketched it out.

It was striped and hairy. It had feathered wings like a bird or a hawk. It had big fly like eyes. A long snout which I think was too steal your soul. A jaw filled with teeth. At least 6 legs maybe more and arms with HUMAN hands. I seriously screamed. It was between then size of a kiwi and a plum. It looked like it might have not been full grown! Dillon will back up this whole thing.

All I am saying is watch out! I don’t know if it is just here searching for souls or looking to make new more powerful demons. Or if you know what kind of bug this is let me know.

I miss my Faith. I miss my Jesus.

The Lazer Light Show at the AM Session!

So the AM session was almost dead since Chris left for Arkansas but somehow the AM session is staying alive. This AM session was dedicated to Sparky aka “Laser Light Show” aka “Big Skeezy” aka “Rough Rider Boom Town”. Sparky basically split town after Havik went under which is what we all should have done. He has been pimping it out in Florida ever since. Sparky is a raw, real, and talented skater. I always enjoyed skating with that guy even if he was twice as good as me. He was visiting in town this week and I was scared I was going to miss hanging with the dude but it all worked out at the AM session. 80% off the old Havik staff showed up to skate the AM session good times!

It was all about Sparky’s crazy halfcabs! They were the Laser Light Show. This guy can skate anything, anywhere, and do it dirty.

Mack aka “The Professor” was there but was too cool to skate with us most of the time he just hung with his other homies!
