Mediocre this and Mediocre that I am sure that you here me mention that word often. Well you might be wondering why?? I mean why does this guy just want to be “so-so”, “okay’, and “ordinary”? Mediocre isn’t the kind of word most people like to use to describe themselves but I am as Mediocre as it gets. I just might be TheMostMediocre!

Mediocre started with a group of friends who noticed they were somewhere in the middle of the skateboard pack. The regular, so-so guys! We saw ourselves a little below the “home town hero” and a little above the “mongo sketchy kid”. We were rarely the best guys but we were never the worst. Everyone loves to be on top and it is always a struggle at the bottom. But what about the guys in the middle?? What do we do? Are we settling? Have we hit our skateboard plateau? Mediocre was about embracing who we are, what we love, and why we do it. We love to skate no matter what level, we love our friends, and we always want to have a good time!

Mediocre stands for Fun, Friendship, and the search for the perfect skate Spot! So here we are starting a skateboard company to show the world that you can go broke having a good time!

Happy Mediocre “29th” Birthday!

I want to say thanks to all the homies that came out for my Mediocre “29th” birthday! It was super sweet getting together with new friends and old ones………Baugh is super old. And getting to skate inside and safe from the rain at The Pier was great. I mean bowling would have been fun but skateboarding is better. We didn’t really film anything but we did take a few pics here and there.

Mack and I made up and made skateboard dreams come true. But still no switch flips!!!

“29th” Birthday Wish List aka The Most Mediocre Hit List!

So just incase you didn’t already know my “29th” Birthday is this weekend and your invited! I am pretty sure that only my six friends read this thing anymore so you better show up! I thought that I would carry on my birthday tradition by posting my Birthday Hit List!! So here it is and you better get busy buying cause my Birthday is the 22nd which is Sunday at The Pier Skatepark in Kennedale!

Skateboards are also super fun and can be found all over the Metroplex! I am currently riding a 8 inch skateboard deck. I enjoy companies like Roger, Element, Real, Given, Girl, and Chocolate.

I also enjoy all the goodies that go with a skateboard like Swiss Bearings, Diamond Hardware, Grizzly Griptape, Skateboard Videos, MOB Griptape, and basically everything you can put on a board.

Now you may be thinking that everything I enjoy is skateboard related! Well that is true! But I do find a few other things to be mildly fun!

I was wondering if we could be friends again?

I was wondering if you weren’t busy next week you could swing by the crib and punch me in the face (because I deserve it) then we could be friends again? I am just saying it would be sweet if we could skate some again, I still need to figure out tail slides, also my birthday is right around the corner, and switch flips/nollie flips are still giving me issues. Also I can be a douche bag. I take things too personal and carry my heart on my sleeve. Most of the time I put my foot in my mouth and the rest of the time I put my foot in my mouth all the time. So think about it ………… I mean I understand if you think I suck. I deserve that as well but maybe we can have some AM sessions or skate the funny curb or write some blogs or whatever. Let me know.

The Most Mediocre “29th” Birthday Ever!

It is that time of year again. And in hopes of not repeating what happened last year (see video below) we are having a private Mediocre Birthday Bash!

So I had my friend and fellow Mediocre associate, Nathan Davis, put together a little Mediocre Video Birthday Invite. Now I told him to make it exciting, relative, hip, trendy, action packed, dark, intriguing, and to make me look super freaking cool.

Now I think that Nathan may not have gotten the text I sent him explaining how the video was “suppose” to look like. But it does get the point across and well we are still excited! We will be having fun skateboard time at The Pier in Kennedale, Texas on Sunday, May 22nd starting at 8pm! You should attend the event with your skateboard, presents, and ready for a fun time. If you are a skateboard filmer please bring your camera so we can have fun skating and make a little something for the blog. You may be asking yourself what sizes do I have well that is a good question. We have Small, Medium, Large, and XL. Remember to send your money to us as quick as you can so that we can move into a bigger house or possibly buy a small private jet. Go big and maybe get two or three.

These shirts are pretty sweet and very Mediocre! They are 4.5 oz. hand spun 100% Cotton! They will shrink a little so I recommend hang dry if you ain’t into that!

And for people affected by the struggling economy we have a separate form of payment. We will be accepting your eternal soul as payment instead of the $12 bucks. This is due to the fact that I actually sold my soul to the devil on accident.

Awkward moment in graveyard may be a little more awkward.

So look who doesn’t end up hanging with some weird goth kids at the local graveyard talking smack about the Mavericks and Lakers second round match up? I mean and maybe in the heat of the moment and with the mix of a few Coors Lights lead to a crazy idea being thrown around. I mean your in a graveyard with goth kids and next thing you know people are trying to sell souls to the devil for a second round sweep of the Lakers.

I mean what true Mavericks Fan wouldn’t feel cheated over the last few years and mix that with goth kids and a graveyard and the devil and the Lakers and BOOM souls are flying.

Now of course the next morning waking up and feeling a little hung over and silly thinking nothing of the wild night of soul selling and Maverick cheering and Laker bashing. But suddenly my feelings of silliness and drunk hijinks became more and more serious as the Mavs beat the Lakers in game 1. Okay no big deal I mean the Mavericks are a great team. I am sure we can steal one in L.A. Then game 2 and the Mavs win again. Suddenly I am beginning to fear for my eternal soul. Did I sell my soul for a Mavericks Championship in 2011.

So the Mavs are up 2 games to 0 on the Lakers and we are coming home. Just keep me in your thoughts as the Mavericks make their way to the Western Conference Finals and hopefully to the NBA Finals. Cause we might all win big here in Dallas if the Mavericks can go all the way but I might just lose my eternal soul.

It might be worth it?
