Anchor Blue decided not to pay me today?
If you got some extra cash you should come by my Anchor Blue at the Parks Mall and buy some stuff!
I never really believed in the horrible economy. I guess I was just an optimist when it came to the American way. I work in the mall and most days I still see tons of people spending money, laughing, stealing, trying things on, eating, and having a good time. Sure sales have been up and down. Good and Bad! But for the most part we run a pretty tight ship and have actually had some decent clothes to sell and good promos to promote them. Maybe I am not the best sales man or most aggressive?? All I know is that I voted for President Obama and I might be waiting for my bail out soon! I really just sit back now and think what the heck am I going to do if I don’t get paid?? Retail has sort of been my thing for like 13 years. Maybe full time skate lessons? My own skateboard company? Reality TV?? Who wouldn’t want to see me on Survivor or The Amazing Race?? Maybe I could work in a Tattoo Shop or move to Alabama to be a youth minister? Could I sell some salvation over a t-shirt and jeans?
Bankruptcy sucks, not getting my paycheck sucks, being scared that you won’t have a job tomorrow sucks, sucking sucks, but everything is in God’s hands he usually thinks of something cool for me to do. I got to get back to work selling crap on Ebay(I don’t want to sell my SNES) and take better care of my shoes and skateboard. Might be feeding the kids the generic hot dogs again.
It has been awhile since I made a crazy change to my life and this might be one that is made for me. Only time will tell if I will finally get to live my dream of being a homeless person!
It will be two years at Anchor Blue come August and I hope that I am still there.
