One Year of themostmediocre blog ever!

So time really does fly when your having fun. I honestly can’t even believe that it has already been a whole 12 months of blogging! I have enjoyed every crazy, wacky, wild post and all of your comments! So much has changed in my life since I started this thing. I have gotten married, changed jobs, gone crazy, had at least 2 nervous breakdowns, and of course grown out this wild stache! 13,359 views also blows my mind!! People have actually looked at this thing and at least a few people have enjoyed it. I use this thing day in and day out as some sort of therapy. It is my little shout out to the world. I never know who is watching or reading or spying on my awesome blog. Now with a new year on the horizon and a new year of blogging ahead I am stoked. I hope you all keep reading and commenting. I am going to make this next year twice as good!!!!!

There will be more, and more, and more tattoos this next year! And I hope more to come from my homie Josh out at Saints and Sinners in Carrollton!!

There will be no more weddings only happily ever after! Or at least till death do us part or until death do we start!

There will be a TON more AM sessions. I do feel that I will be heading back to Irving for the AM sessions I have not enjoyed Lewisville. I hope to get back into my skateboard rhythm. Or maybe I will kill my skateboard when I finally lose it!

Of course I will be writing as much as I can about mustache and moustache related items! I can’t see myself with out my facial friend! I hope that in the future he can grown and become very strong.

Just to say Thanks or Save My Butt!

I have noticed this about my own life but when things get hard the first thing I do is pray. I might be going out on a random tangent but I think most people (religious or not) tend to do this. Its like God isn’t good enough for the day to day but when the crap hits the fan he is the first person I am hitting up. You can argue the existence of a supreme being all day and night and year long. But sometimes I feel like it is so instinctual to call out his name when I am in a tough spot. Like God put himself on my internal speed dial under the name Hope. My Dad used to say that God didn’t make any sense. He would say “If you need $50 bucks to save your butt who do you call God or your best friend? You call your best friend.” For a long time I believed that same thing. But sometimes your friends aren’t there and sometimes you need more then $50 bucks. I know right now I am in a spot and I call out to God to help ease the crazy in my life. Now looking back on this I just feel bad. I am that friend that only calls you when I am in trouble and never to just hang or laugh. Is God the first person you call when your stressed or stuck? When no one else is hearing you or noticing your pain? I am making a promise to myself to give him a spiritual ring from time to time just to say hi or thanks. Thanks for a rain free day or thanks for a beautiful family or thanks for just being ( or that back smith )!

Lately life has been beating me up. I feel like I am making the hardest decisions of my life. I am questioning who I am as a person and who I am as a provider for my family. When I really look back at it I have had a pretty easy year with Samantha and the girls. We have always made the best of the things we have and appreciate everything that we are given. I want to take care of my new family, spend time with them, and enjoy my life. I am searching like everyone else in this world for a little piece of peace. I don’t think anything I just typed makes any sense at all!!!!!! Feelings and words are sometimes hard to bring together in happy time!

I guess I have just lost a little bit of my swag! I got knocked down about twenty self esteem levels. But maybe I am just being a baby or maybe I am just miss-understanding everything that has happened in the last 4 weeks. Or I have lost my mind!

Our first dinner as a Married Couple thanks Waffle House!

Our wedding was one heck of a wild night! I could have not been more stoked on how it went and I can’t thank everyone enough. Well after the wedding Samantha, Chris and I went out to eat at the place most couples head for right after their wedding! WAFFLE HOUSE!

Chris also made it out to Waffle House with us! I think he had a good time!

How many people did you eat at your wedding??

I ate 12! I want to say thanks to all my family and friends that came out to Screams for our wedding! Samantha and I had the best night ever. We spent the whole night wishing that it would never end. I guess we will all have to wait till next year and the anniversary party! So from the bottom of my heart thank you for making this the best night of my life!

The Wedding Invite Blog!

Okay here we go so we are having our wedding at Screams at 9 pm on October 31st we would like people to show up around 7:30 or 8:00 so we can make sure everyone can get in the park before the wedding starts. Update on the Wedding Registry! Laserdisc Suckers!

Samantha and I have become obsessed with the idea of LASERDISCS! We found a thrift store that had like 100 Laserdiscs for sale and it got us thinking “How sweet are Laserdiscs?”. So we want a Laserdisc Player for our wedding!!!

I highly recommend searching Craigslist and possibly Ebay. I don’t know how many people might go for this one but I don’t think we will end up with 5 laserdisc players. If you buy us one maybe drop a hint so I can take down this blog!!!
