Don’t Think Twice.

One Year of themostmediocre blog ever!

So time really does fly when your having fun. I honestly can’t even believe that it has already been a whole 12 months of blogging! I have enjoyed every crazy, wacky, wild post and all of your comments! So much has changed in my life since I started this thing. I have gotten married, changed jobs, gone crazy, had at least 2 nervous breakdowns, and of course grown out this wild stache! 13,359 views also blows my mind!! People have actually looked at this thing and at least a few people have enjoyed it. I use this thing day in and day out as some sort of therapy. It is my little shout out to the world. I never know who is watching or reading or spying on my awesome blog. Now with a new year on the horizon and a new year of blogging ahead I am stoked. I hope you all keep reading and commenting. I am going to make this next year twice as good!!!!!

There will be more, and more, and more tattoos this next year! And I hope more to come from my homie Josh out at Saints and Sinners in Carrollton!!

There will be no more weddings only happily ever after! Or at least till death do us part or until death do we start!

There will be a TON more AM sessions. I do feel that I will be heading back to Irving for the AM sessions I have not enjoyed Lewisville. I hope to get back into my skateboard rhythm. Or maybe I will kill my skateboard when I finally lose it!

Of course I will be writing as much as I can about mustache and moustache related items! I can’t see myself with out my facial friend! I hope that in the future he can grown and become very strong.

People I wish I could skate with more often!

10. Adam Aylmer

Adam stopped skating probably like 7 years ago or so. Every time I hang out with him I mention skating hoping that he will suddenly decide that skateboarding is cool again. Adam you should come back!

9. JUMA

Justin and Matt are super rad! They are more Mediocre then I am and remind me of the good old days. They also share most of my feelings on skateboarding and life. I know that I will continue to skate with these guys in the future I just want it to be more often! I will be moving closer to their side of town soon!

8. Corey Ruslink

Of course I miss Big Red and I loved to skate with this guy! I don’t see what San Diego has that I don’t?? I can make your days sunny just come back to Texas and Skate! Corey was always a good time on the board. When you visit we have to skate!!!

7. Matt English

Next to Jesse Grubbs, I skate with Matt the most out of anyone on this list. He has once again came out of retirement to stand along side the Mediocre Crew again. This kid has always ripped and always made me wish I was better. He gets me up for the AM sessions and has done the bowling thing from time to time! Lets skate more! Lets film skate parts and put them to weird country music!

6. Dillon Forgy

Dill Dawg is the most fun you can have on a skateboard! This dude is pure motivation! Whenever we skate he does something that blows my mind. Not to mention he ain’t afraid to skate naked! Call me and lets skate! (I might even hit up Lewisville)

5. Mack Dafoe

Mack is like working on 7 different videos as I write this down. I just want to make it in one!! Mack is a humble, funny, positive, rad skateboarder that I think makes me better when I skate with him! Lets skate!

4. Aaron Baugh

Baugh is the reason that I am skating in the first place! So he should stay the reason I skate on a regular basis! You can crash on my couch anytime!

3. Sparky

I hate Florida for stealing Sparky! He pushed me to skate my best everyday at Havik. This guy was always so rad and so under rated. I want to beat him in a game of skate! Come back to Texas and grow back your Mustache!

2. Chris Ebling

I hate Arkansas! Chris was my ticket back to the big game! He invented the AM game. He made me skate. If Baugh is the guy that started me skating then Chris is the guy who saved me from being one of those “I used to skateboard” guys. Come back home Chris!! Texas, Skateboarding, and I miss you!

1. Shane Darnell

Shane Darnell and I have a heated past. We have known each other for at least 10 years. Very few people in this world know each other that long and very few people skate that long. We have managed to do both. Over the past few years we have slowly moved farther and farther apart. Maybe most of it is me being intimidated by the master filmer/skater that Shane is. Shane if you read this lets skate that ledge out in GP, lets skate anywhere we can before me knees give out!

Last AM as a non-married Man!

The Friday morning before my wedding I got together with a few of my best home boys and rocked the AM! Chris was in town from Arkansas and since he was the reason the AM game started we had to hit up Irving. I seriously miss Chris cause that dude rarely missed the AM Game. Maybe all my gifts and begging made him want to move back to D-Town!

Jesse was also holding down my bachelor AM session. Jesse has been on my butt about the AM game but new jobs and weddings have been messing up my schedule. But hopefully soon we can get back on the AM!

Work Uniform!

Made it through my first day of work at my new job! I am going to try my hardest to live up to the incredibly high standards at Index. I will be pushing myself each day to get the goods out to the peeps! Long Live Index!

I thought I would pick up a few t-shirts to use as my work uniform. I mean do I really need anything but Index T’s? I don’t think so!

I am still going to call him Adam!

You might know him, you might fear him, you might be annoyed by him, but you can’t really miss Adam “Auby” Taylor. He skates in real life the way you might skate in your dreams. So here is his Mag Minute, I promise you will be stoked!

Index Super Kicks!

Thought I would post some pics of the new kicks I got at Index this evening. To be honest Shane sold me on these a couple of days ago at the bowling alley. I had never really noticed this color way but when I saw it on him I was sold. I think I noticed the fatter tongue in these compared to another new pair I recently got. I come to find out on closer inspection at Index that the fat tongue is out! Say what???? I thought the fat tongue was the best part of the dunk?? Maybe I was wrong or maybe Konston and the Team wanted a slimmed down shoe. I hope for my sake that they at least make a few more fat tongues.

Value Center find of the Year!

Okay so this is the Value Center!

Basiclly whenever I go see Matt up at Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita Kansas I stop off at the Value Center. I always seem to walk away with something that makes me smile! From owls, to bowling balls, to suits, whatever I am looking for they have it before I need it. It is just your average sort of thrift store but it must be in the twilight zone cause it is always full of awesome stuff and scary people! I mean it is almost worth the 5 hour trip just for the Value Center! So here is my exciting score from my most recent trip to Kansas with Samantha.

Ya that right this is a GT Coyote 3!!!!! Not a Coyote 1 or 2 this is a 3 bagger! And it is all powder blue to set it off. I just barely saw this thing sitting up on a high self. It was probably there to stop little kids from breaking their necks in the Value Center. I almost could not control myself when I found it! And as you can see it was only $1.98! It was not a deal just a steal! Ryan (the previous owner) wrote his name 3 times on the bottom of this time and who wouldn’t if they owned a GT Coyote 3! Once back in Dallas I took it by Index to show it off and got the mad hook up from Dameon and Jon who gave me some bushings and bearings! Thanks Guys!
