One Year of themostmediocre blog ever!

So time really does fly when your having fun. I honestly can’t even believe that it has already been a whole 12 months of blogging! I have enjoyed every crazy, wacky, wild post and all of your comments! So much has changed in my life since I started this thing. I have gotten married, changed jobs, gone crazy, had at least 2 nervous breakdowns, and of course grown out this wild stache! 13,359 views also blows my mind!! People have actually looked at this thing and at least a few people have enjoyed it. I use this thing day in and day out as some sort of therapy. It is my little shout out to the world. I never know who is watching or reading or spying on my awesome blog. Now with a new year on the horizon and a new year of blogging ahead I am stoked. I hope you all keep reading and commenting. I am going to make this next year twice as good!!!!!

There will be more, and more, and more tattoos this next year! And I hope more to come from my homie Josh out at Saints and Sinners in Carrollton!!

There will be no more weddings only happily ever after! Or at least till death do us part or until death do we start!

There will be a TON more AM sessions. I do feel that I will be heading back to Irving for the AM sessions I have not enjoyed Lewisville. I hope to get back into my skateboard rhythm. Or maybe I will kill my skateboard when I finally lose it!

Of course I will be writing as much as I can about mustache and moustache related items! I can’t see myself with out my facial friend! I hope that in the future he can grown and become very strong.

Another trip to Kansas which was followed by another and soon another!

So I have been following behind on some blogs. I have had some pics from a trip to Kansas that I made with Adam just a few weeks ago but I have been too lazy to post them. Well its not all my fault or maybe it is? First off I forgot my digital camera at home so I purchased a regular (film) camera at QT (Quick Trip).  Then we only used about half the available pictures on it. Adam got me the pictures on his birthday but they have sat in my Iphoto till today. So whatever? This all just sounds retarded. I have no point to what I am writing. I am just babbling! Here are the best pictures!

Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita Kansas!

Getting a tattoo is always a great time (and usually pretty painful) but Matt will always tell you it doesn’t hurt him a bit. These pics are from our last rad Kansas tattoo trip everyone should take one! Getting tattooed in L.A. is over rated! Make all your dreams come true at Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita, Kansas! I think I got ripped off on this trip I got some color in my knee and Adam got a half sleeve!

Kansas Knee Tattoo!

11 months, 3 Sessions, 3 trips to Kansas, 2178 miles, Ski Ball Loss, 33 hours in a car, 1 speeding ticket (181 dollars), Maybe 3 hours under the machine, and it all lead to 1 sweet Knee Tattoo! I finally got my knee tattoo finish on Thursday in Wichita, Kansas at Red Sea Tattoo by the one and only Matt Headley! I made this trip with Adam which always helps to have a friend ride along. We spent roughly 24 hours in Kansas hanging with Matt and Emily. We ate Barbeque, Indian Food, hung out at the Value Center, found Jesus again, and got tattooed. Knee tattoos are brutal and I was stoked to finally finish it. No matter how bad it hurts its always cool to get tattooed with friends.

It has not finished healing but I wanted to post a blog about it cause well I think it is freaking sweet!

I don’t hate you, Dru!

There are lots of exciting characters up at Saints and Sinners. This is a shop full of badass tattoo artists who can crank out some sweet tat work. So today I wanted to add some background to a dragon Dru did on my neck probably close to a year ago. I have been trying to psych myself out for the extra work on my neck! I don’t know if it worked, actually I know it didn’t it was brutal.

I wanted Dru to tattoo me forever cause he had tattooed a lot of my friends and it made them look badass. But somehow I picked the two worst areas to get tattooed. For some reason they just seemed so brutal and so intense that I just wanted to run out the back door. But I had to sit and to the best of my ability pretend to be tough. 

It came up in conversation at the shop how certain people feel like they tattoo harder or more painfully then others. I for some reason feel roughed up by Dru when I get tattooed and not so much by Nick or Brian or Will?? For some reason its just a tad more intense. Okay a lot more intense! But in the end I get exactly what I want and thats a sweet neck tat that I feel makes me look just that much more like a badass to cover up for the little girl inside me. 

So Thanks again Dru for the tattoo and I don’t hate you. Hope all goes well on your move to New York and when you come down to visit we will tattoo a less intense area of my body!

Death or Mustache: Commitment!

So I got Josh up at Saints and Sinners to tattoo on me this inspirational piece of tattoo art. This is of coarse just the outline we were a little behind schedule and this probably is not the best pic ever. But when it is finished I will have more pics and more excitement to share! 

Tattoo #5

This tattoo is freaking sweet if I say so myself. I got this tattoo up at Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita, Kansas by Matt Headley. I feel there are a lot of awesome things that everyone should have tattooed on them. Some examples are Jesus, Snake, Dagger, Panther, Roses, and of coarse some Praying Hands. I wanted some different praying hands and I always liked seeing stuff (especially tattooed Jesus’s) that had a blue tint to it like they were dead. So we did the hands with the cool blue tint to them and some yellow roses for Texas. Matt threw in the awesome pink flames only to prove that real men can have pink tattoos. This is a super hard tattoo to show off since it is under my arm but every once and awhile it pops out during the gun show! haha!

P.S. Matt did the pink last and wow it did not feel good.

Anti!

Lately I have been anti the blog. I think it has been my attempt to stay off of the computer a little bit. Sometimes I can get sucked into the Internet it has a lot of interesting little bits of info and excitement. I have been trying to put a positive spin on my skateboarding and get out there. I finally replaced my hijacked board so I am stoked. But what I am most stoked about at the moment is the Friday the 13th that is coming up. Not only will I be going to Elm Street Tattoo to get my lucky 13 on the 13th but I will also be going to see the new Friday the 13th remake. It has been more then 6 months since the last time I got tattooed so I am itching to get tattooed. So if your not busy you should head out to Elm Street it is one heck of a good time and Richard Stell will be there tattooing on Friday as well!

Tattoo #4

I don’t know if you know this but Nick Ley is sort of a big deal and a badass! He also just happened to have tattooed my right hand with a badass vulture. I didn’t want just anyone to tattoo my hands so I asked around and everyone told me to go see Nick. Tattooed hands just look super badass as far as I am concerned. Nick and I talked about a lot of weird ideas but I really wanted something with wings like an eagle. We came up with an idea based on my hobby of skating. The vulture is all about the down side of skating and wrecking my body. The nurse on my left hand is the lady that fixes me up.

 

I also do not take the best tattoo photos but I think this gets the point across. If I get a better one I’ll toss it up.
