Another trip to Kansas which was followed by another and soon another!

So I have been following behind on some blogs. I have had some pics from a trip to Kansas that I made with Adam just a few weeks ago but I have been too lazy to post them. Well its not all my fault or maybe it is? First off I forgot my digital camera at home so I purchased a regular (film) camera at QT (Quick Trip).  Then we only used about half the available pictures on it. Adam got me the pictures on his birthday but they have sat in my Iphoto till today. So whatever? This all just sounds retarded. I have no point to what I am writing. I am just babbling! Here are the best pictures!

Value Center find of the Year!

Okay so this is the Value Center!

Basiclly whenever I go see Matt up at Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita Kansas I stop off at the Value Center. I always seem to walk away with something that makes me smile! From owls, to bowling balls, to suits, whatever I am looking for they have it before I need it. It is just your average sort of thrift store but it must be in the twilight zone cause it is always full of awesome stuff and scary people! I mean it is almost worth the 5 hour trip just for the Value Center! So here is my exciting score from my most recent trip to Kansas with Samantha.

Ya that right this is a GT Coyote 3!!!!! Not a Coyote 1 or 2 this is a 3 bagger! And it is all powder blue to set it off. I just barely saw this thing sitting up on a high self. It was probably there to stop little kids from breaking their necks in the Value Center. I almost could not control myself when I found it! And as you can see it was only $1.98! It was not a deal just a steal! Ryan (the previous owner) wrote his name 3 times on the bottom of this time and who wouldn’t if they owned a GT Coyote 3! Once back in Dallas I took it by Index to show it off and got the mad hook up from Dameon and Jon who gave me some bushings and bearings! Thanks Guys!

Red Sea Tattoo in Wichita Kansas!

35% Mustache, 10% Tattoos, 8% Movies, 17% Skateboarding, 15% Pegacorns, 14% Crap, 1% Other Mythical Creatures, but 100% Mediocre!

Eleven months ago I stole an idea from a friend of mine. Okay well I didn’t steal it I was inspired by it. Look Mack told me it would be cool if I started a blog since I was inspired by his. In todays society things tend to be very politically correct and a blog seems like a pretty sweet way to express ones self in a no boundaries sort of way. For me I enjoy the excitement of being able to throw out little pieces of myself onto the world wide web.

Just sharing little moments of my life whether it be in photos, run-on sentences, rants, or raves, or in the description of a mythical creature and its powers! I have come to embrace this little blog adventure. At times when I have nothing to do or have some time to waste it gives me what I see as a creative out let. I can chat about friends (old and new), I can talk about my frustrations with my skateboard and my friends (old and new), I can twitter (or tweet), I can laugh and cry, and I can do it all naked. Just random freedom in my own blog world. Themostmediocre is my guts spilt out on to your computer screen and that can be mildly intimate.

I also try to pimp out my friends on here from Matt at Red Sea Tattoo, Jesse Grubbs, Matt and Justin at Juma, Samantha, and anyone else I can think of. I have enjoyed and struggled with this thing. I want it to be creative even when I am not. I want people to love it even when they do not love me. I want to have something that reaches outside of my family, friends, and regular circle of life. Samantha says I do it cause I have a giant fragile ego that must be stroked on a regular basis by strangers. Samantha is not always right.

Why have I decided to share this little piece of me? Why do I suddenly feel like I have to well defend my blog? Or for that matter my bulletins, my run-on sentences, and my creative use of the in correct “then”. Well here it is I have recently come under attack by what I can only describe as language or opinion nazis. I think it is kind of funny, don’t get me wrong, the english majors who work at the local Kroger, the late night computer nerd still searching to find that special over seas bride, or that bored ex tattoo artist in Japan (dude I had to get you!) like to pick on my blog. Jesus I mean of all the blogs in all the world they had to stumble onto mine. Is my blog on some sort of grammar police web site for violations against grammar or spelling. I just wanted to let the world know why I was here and why I enjoy it so much and why the nazis can suck it.

This special picture is for all you weirdos out there or their or theare! Or just where ever you might be! Its on you silly bastards! Love me or hate me I know that you love me no matter what you really feel or think your love spills out all over my blog by the way you pay attention to it with so much of your love/hate grammar/spelling/obama love comment/mail/bulletin/awesome comments about mythical creatures of hope and prosperity.

Getting a tattoo is always a great time (and usually pretty painful) but Matt will always tell you it doesn’t hurt him a bit. Kansas Knee Tattoo!

11 months, 3 Sessions, 3 trips to Kansas, 2178 miles, Ski Ball Loss, 33 hours in a car, 1 speeding ticket (181 dollars), Maybe 3 hours under the machine, and it all lead to 1 sweet Knee Tattoo! I finally got my knee tattoo finish on Thursday in Wichita, Kansas at Red Sea Tattoo by the one and only Matt Headley! I made this trip with Adam which always helps to have a friend ride along. We spent roughly 24 hours in Kansas hanging with Matt and Emily. We ate Barbeque, Indian Food, hung out at the Value Center, found Jesus again, and got tattooed. Knee tattoos are brutal and I was stoked to finally finish it. No matter how bad it hurts its always cool to get tattooed with friends.

It has not finished healing but I wanted to post a blog about it cause well I think it is freaking sweet!

Most Exciting Trip to Kansas!

Every time that I go to Kansas it is exciting but this last trip was mega exciting. Wichita, Kansas has to be one of the most under rated travel locations in the US and maybe the world. Or Matt and Emily are just that hilarious! This last visit was just insane. I scored some rad Wranglers, I grabbed some cool owl stuff for Samantha, I found a Pegacorn for Matt, and we had a mega battle on the ski ball and shuffle board! It felt like I was in Kansas for a week. And on the last day Adam and I got tattooed by Matt at Red Sea Tattoo. I have decided to post just a portion of the funny, weird, and awesome pics from the ski ball battle and shuffle board madness and not to mention the scrabble night cap. Enjoy!Emily and Matt won somehow I think it was home town advantage! They play the ski ball game here all the time!

Shuffle board is freaking intense! This was the first time I ever played it and I am sure it was Adam’s first time too!
